Movehome is an experimental initiative by the house manufacturer, Movehome, to develop and test new ideas for standardized modular housing. Our design, entitled LAB#1 was the first in a series.
Our idea was to create a house that allowed each inhabitant to find their own way of inhabiting the space and making it their own – something we developed under the theme – everyday rituals. Smart storage solutions, double-functioning spaces and large, flowing spaces that can be subdivided in multiple ways allow the house to be adapted for many different needs, be they for the moment, or for a longer period – for the everyday, or for the special occasion.
