Public spaces, by definition, belong to us all. The city’s streets, squares, parks and in-between spaces can be easily defined in their physical form, but more difficult to understand in terms of their use and complex flows. They are necessary. In fact, it is hard to imagine a city without them. We design and investigate public space in all of its scales, from parks and squares to small additions, such as a playground or a park bench.
